Undergraduate

I am currently a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences, studying philosophy, with aspirations to teach in other countries to promote educational equity. Regarding philosophy for the young: In high school and in my life, I have not had many opportunities to learn philosophy, and I believe that it is important that we instill philosophy in the youth to help create a new generation of rational thinkers. Philosophy isn't being taught, especially in schools that lack funding, and I believe that this program can help instill the educational equity I believe in.
